I am still a student in high school. I am a junior and take all senior classes. My favorite subject is math. I work really good with younger children and take my time to help them learn what they struggle in. When I was younger I had never wanted to get help for math and I took it upon myself to learn it and now its my strongest subject.

Having the chance to attend one of the largest universities in the world has truly allowed me to experience opportunties to influence young minds. The difference in my experiences and those of others is that the experiences I come across require much more dedication and devotion simply because it is not related to my field of study. All of the experiences that I became a part of where individually sought out by me throughout all of the required clinical hours for my major. As a recent college graduate, I feel that I have received the formal training necessary to become a teacher. I have obtained a BS in Early Childhood Education. Over the past two years I have also spent time tutoring elementary school children in the subject of reading, and also spent about 3 months working one on one with various students in a nearby school district.
I believe that all children should receive the extra help that they need. Often time in the classroom, a teacher does not have the time to give the support of the needs of each student in the classroom. Teachers and tutors should try their best to make sure they focus on individual needs of the students so that they can help them succeed.
