I have been a high school Spanish teacher for the past two and a half years here in Florida. Before that I taught English as a Foreign language to adolescents and adults at a language school in Mexico and I tutored children at an orphanage as well. I have substitute taught for two years in Ohio and I have tutored Spanish and English as well in Ohio. I have attended University for a year in Mexico studying Spanish during my undergraduate studies. I studied teaching English as a Second Language at the graduate level in Ohio for two semesters and it really improved my understanding of how to teach English by only using the target language.

A Little Bit About Me...

I often tutored fellow students through my high school career. I mostly focused on Reading, English, History and Science. Rarely did I tutor in Mathematics. I received my Educational Paraprofessionals certification in May of 2009, scoring one point shy of perfect. The certification allows me to be a teachers assistant in side classrooms in Lee County Florida.
