My comments on tutoring Journalism : My first job was writing for the local newspaper as a journalist and photographer for the local newspaper in my hometown of Santa Fe. A lot of what I did for The Santa Fe New Mexican I use on a regular basis to improve on my writing style, my skills, grammar and creativity to allow the reader to become aware of what they're reading.

My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. For students who tend to be more tactile, I might have them handle apples if a math problem references apples.
