I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education. I teach English as a Second Language in the evenings to adult immigrants in the Wichita area. This is a very rewarding experience; the students are eager to learn, and grateful for all I can share with them. My reputation as a good teacher has resulted in some individual requests for private tutoring. One family has called upon me to tutor their sons in grammar and reading comprehension, as well as to help them with various papers as they progressed through middle school, high school and college coursework. My qualifications include an M.A. degree in Education, and a B.A. degree in Psychology.
