A Little Bit About Me...

As a Geneseo graduate, I spent many long hour studying accounting and working in groups with other class mates. I earned my bachelors of science in accounting and was also a member of the accounting society at Geneseo. My experiences with my accounting classes and being a part of many groups in Geneseo helped me use all my accounting skills as well as helping others learn and develop their skills in accounting while volunteering to tutor classmates. Since my college graduation I have been employed by a publically traded company where I am an accountant. I have great real life experience that has helped me take my accounting skills to the next level and fully understand all parts of the accounting process.

Coming from a large family and having a large family myself, I have always been around children of all ages and enjoyed working with kids to develop themselves and prepare them for a meaningful place in our society. I am very patient with children and will use different approaches to teach. I try very hard to install a love of learning and work hard to encourage a curiousity of any subject that interests them. I feel it is important to understand what is different and unique about every student. Not all students will learn in the same way, nor will they find their desire to learn in the same way. I feel it is my duty as a teacher to find what these ways are for every student. Differentiation is vital to the learning process and can only be executed effectively if you know your students.
