I have tutored for a non-profit organization, Life Christian Church, as an after school program on Wednesdays free to the community. I have also taught English and History to home school students. One of the biggest accomplishments was watching of the students who detested writing papers because he did not believe he could do it, grow into a man who is not writing weekly papers confidently. His father told me once, his is writing papers better than he ever would have at that age. I have also taught youth ministry for over 10 years. I have been an Instructional Assistant for a deaf and hard of hearing class for two years. I have been teaching American Sign Language for the Language Door for 4 months and I have been a freelance interpreter for the past 2 months.

After graduating from UCI, I studied abroad in Spain. Beginning with the intermediate level, I achieved the advanced level in 3 months. Later, in Peace Corps, I trained in Kyrgyz language, and reached the advance level in 10 weeks where I also learned successful methods of intensive training, and continue to apply it in my classrooms. I recently completed my two-year Peace Corps service in Kyrgyzstan teaching English and Spanish, using Russian and Kyrgyz.
