A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently enrolled in the Architectural Engineering degree and I am completing my last math class as of now. I believe I would be a great candidate for this position because I have recently taken the three calculus classes and now differential equations. Also, i have an extensive background in different fields of physics which broadens of the everyday use of math as well.
From past experience I have learned that everyone has a specific way of learning and therefore you must accompany to that. I believe that patience is one of the most important qualities any tutor could have. I believe once students realize that everyone needs help in life, whether it be work or school, they will succeed and completely change their view on tutors and their future education.

In the past I have worked as both a teachers aide/paraprofessional and substitute teacher for a total of 4 years. While working as a teachers aide I worked with individual and groups of elementary level students on course work throughout the day. This included things like: helping students with math homework, listening to students read and helping them with reading comprehension, helping students prepare for tests by quizzing them. I currently work as a pre-k teacher. My work day consists of teaching my students their numbers, letters, letter sounds, and basic counting.
