A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and working with children. I find that they are fun to talk to and that each one has a different learning process. I like tutoring better than teaching in a large group, as tutoring allows students to receive one on one attention. My goal is to provide the best education possible in my allotted time periods. I believe however the child needs the information, is how I will teach. Children have many different styles of learning and you have to be flexible for them to become successful. I believe Mathematics can be fun and entertaining. I want the best for every child out there.
I worked at Learning Center in Tupelo, MS for a year as a proctor for government issued tests and a mathematics tutor. I have not received my Elementary Education Bachelor's Degree yet, however, I am in the process of receiving it. I will graduate Dec. 2011. I have taken 21 hours in Mathematics so far at the college level, and love working with children. I have had to tutor from first grade to college level. I know that I do not have my Bachelor's yet, but maybe I could at least be reviewed. Thank you for your time.

A Little Bit About Me...

While attending high school at South panola, I tutored every subject at the school and at the boys and girls club for four years. I have earned a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Math. During my tenured at the ole miss I tutored at oxford and other local schools through a program called Family literacy, which is a progam to help educate kids of all ages. So, I have tutored kids for the past 8-9 years.
Helping and teaching children of all ages is a very rewarding job. I love to help people learn. My teaching style various with each student. I believe that Math is a subject of concepts and if the concepts are clear than any body can do math. Making concepts clear depends on the teacher who analyze the understading of each individual and teaches him accordingly.
As a Math graduate, I wanted to remove hesitation and fear of students for this subject and I became a Math tutor. I have taught advance Math (Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus) at High Schools and also done tutoring for these subjects. During last 8 years many of my students improved their performance and now they have become Engineers. I have also tutored students in Physics.
