There are many arrays of learning styles. I personally use visually, writing, and seeing the bigger picture. First, the mind can develop a concept or help map out the ideas by seeing the picture to the learning task. Second writing helps to reinforce the concept or idea. Lastly seeing the bigger picture helps to encompass their own ideas as well as the originator ideas.

Throughout my education, I learned easy ways to teach myself concepts. I have a BS in Biology and a Master’s in Public Administration. These degrees as well as my research experience have taught me analytical and writing skills. I have taken Calculus I, Calculus II, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Statistics. I have tutored students in these subjects in addition to Biology and Biochemistry on and off for the past ten years.
For some children, some subjects are hard to understand. Children can get frustrated just by not being able to understand the subject matter. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Missouri. I am working on dual masters in economics and statistics and just finished year one of two. I have been a teaching assistant for macroeconomics the past 3 semesters and was head teaching assistant last semester. In the fall I will begin teaching my own sections of business statistics. I have spent the last two years helping students one on one and have also taught exam reviews.
