Helping Others To Accomplish Their Goals

I have worked with various needy students who have been classified as learning disabled, or those who know they are in need for assistance. My experiences vary, as I worked with older children in filling out applications for jobs and to prepare for jobs. I also, have worked with many adults on writing papers for college preparation or with helping their children on writing tasks. I have worked with young children on phonics and reading readiness.
My style is what works for the person I am working with. I am opened to sharing my ideas, but listening to each individual and what works for them.

I believe that learning is a life-long process unique to every individual. I seek whenever possible to encourage a learner's connection or reconnection to the joy of learning, as well as their understanding of their central role to drive the process of their own learning. I hold a BA in Anthropology/Environmental Studies from Bryn Mawr College. I succeeded in Calculus level math and high level Economics courses.
