Education is my life, and with advanced degrees in both the sciences (Masters) and music (Doctorate) I am well versed in math, science, English, music and the arts. While working to obtain a degree in Elementary Education at the University of Mississippi, I was able to experience a variety of tutoring and instructional techniques in the K-6 grades. Each semester I was assigned to specific grade levels that allowed me to work with instructors and students. I was given opportunities to tutor students throughout the semester through assignments, projects, and volunteering. I have instructional experience and have tutored students in grade levels K-6 during my four years at the University of Mississippi. I obtained a certification to teach General Science grades 7-12 while working on my minor in Geology, and a certification to teach English grades 7-12.
