I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering. Having taught for 2 universities, 2 community colleges and several private institutions I bring to the class both an academic/private industry point of view. Students are taught not only the specific details of the course but are also shown where the subject matter is used in industry along jobs which might employ this knowledge. I prefer informal/one-on-one teaching with strong interactivity of the student and teacher during the instruction session.

Some children respond to verbal teaching, while others prefer visual teaching, or others like to interact with their environment (the hands on approach). Each child has their own language. In 1980 I acquired a BA in Geography (3.81 gpa in my major, 3.53 overall), with a minor degree in Environmental Geology (3.6 gpa).
