I really love teaching art to children. I think that everyone can learn to draw or paint and the best way to do that is to practice, practice, practice. I don't think there is a right way or wrong way to teach art. I am patient and understanding. My goal is to provide an environment where your child will find art fun and will feel confident in their abilities. I think that art is a good outlet for self expression and self discovery.
I have earned a bachelors degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in Oil Painting,which has enabled me to understand different levels of painting. As a under graduate and a graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Math, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, Language arts, health, social studies, grammar, arts, and Spanish. In addition, I have taught first, second, and third grade in Los Angeles Unified School District in California for three years. During this period I have taught all subjects and modified school curriculum to meet my students need. Furthermore, I have tutored students in Spanish, Language Arts, and mathematics.
