I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages. I taught dance for my high school years to younger children and I believe that has taught me a lot about teaching styles. I understand that not everyone learns at the same rate or in the same way. Students all have different styles of learning just as teachers have their different styles of teaching. I am currently in my second year of teaching. Before teaching, I worked in an afterschool program for students.I have had multiple experiences working with children from all types of backgrounds, socio-economic status, and ability levels. I hold a bachelor degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement as an Instructional Strategist I, which has enabled me to gain an understanding of the variety of teaching and learning strategies.
