Experience Summary
I am currently in my second year of teaching. Before teaching, I worked in an afterschool program for students.I have had multiple experiences working with children from all types of backgrounds, socio-economic status, and ability levels.
I hold a bachelor degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement as an Instructional Strategist I, which has enabled me to gain an understanding of the variety of teaching and learning strategies. In addition, I am a mentor teacher to two new teachers and I am working toward my Masters degree in Education.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all learners. I believe all children can learn! I feel that I am an organized, patient, caring individual who teaches students using their learning style and choices.
Also, I feel that being able to listen is an important characteristic one needs to display in order to work effectively with learners.
