Different students have different 'keys' to learning. I utilize a flexible approach which seeks to 'unlock' the potential in each individual student.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years in all types of Math, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus etc. I have also been tutoring in Chemistry and Physics. My teaching philosophy is simple and contains three parts. Part one: The concept or topic is easy, regardless of what it is, it just must be broken down to its most basic elements. This is my job to do for the student. Once this is done for the student it will be shown that the perceived “complexity of the subject” is simply a compilation of basic elements of the subject, from here the topic can be built upon to more advanced levels; I am convinced this idea is not subject dependant.
