I am an experienced math and science tutor. I am a 4.0 Nursing student at the University of Texas at Tyler. I am very comfortable teaching children of all ages, and am confident in my ability to assist students. I have tutored many children, from elementary to beginning high school. I myself have completed math up to Calculus I and Statistics. I excel in Algebra and Biology, but feel comfortable in most sciences and maths. I encourage a display-practice approach. This is when the student watches the tutor complete the problem step-by-step, and then works out a similar problem independently.

After graduating with my Bachelor's degree I worked as a resource and content mastery teacher for 4 years in grades K-5 teaching all subjects. I worked for one year in grades K-5 as a resource teacher for Reading, Math, and Language Arts. This is my first year as an inclusion teacher.
