My comments on tutoring Calculus II : Expert at all Calculus II concepts. Particularly good at breaking down the complex concepts and making them easy, including Riemann sums and trapezoidal sums to calculate the area under the curve, The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, integration rules for all functions for all functions using indefinite integrals, evaluating definite integrals, volumes generated by spinning a function over an interval about the x-axis or y-axis using the disc, washer, and/or shell methods, applications of the definite integral, indeterminate forms and L'Hôpital's Rule, improper integrals, mathematical modeling with differential equations, sequences, infinite series, convergence or divergence of a series, and other concepts.

I am currently employed by a college in Roanoke, Virginia as a tutor of mathematics, chemistry, and computer science and tutor elementary school, middle school, high school, college students, and others professionally. For the last 23 years, it has been so fulfilling working for three colleges and tutoring independently over 2,000 students of all ages in all areas of math and computer science, as well as college writing, adult literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL). A Little Bit About Me...

I have seven years of experience in teaching college algebra, calculus series and differential equations. I was a teaching assistant for five years when I was a graduate student at the University of Virginia. I have taught calculus I to III multiple times in my teaching career and have an excellent understanding of the subjects. I also have plenty of one-on-one experience helping students.
