I have more than three years of MATH teaching experience in academic advancement center of Ohio University Library. Three years of math tutoring experience has not only helped me keep my intellect sharp but more importantly helped me hone my skill of being able to explain Math concepts to students in a very simple and easy to understand manner. I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there. I have chosen to be a teacher because I believe I can make learning fun for my students. I like to relate subjects to each other so that students can see how everything is actually intertwined. I have tutored fellow students while I was in college in mathematics, chemistry and physics. I have a love and great appreciation of mathematics and all that is involved with it. I have tutored high school students in math, I have tutored college graduates for the math portion of the GRE, and have also tutored non-traditional students in mathematics. I have earned my degree from Ohio University. My degree has opened my eyes to the beauty of mathematics.
