I have an MBA in Marketing. I have a BA degree in Science Business Communications. I have helped children and adults with their assignments. I work mainly with Kinder through 10th grade. I help with writing, Reading, Touch Typing, Math and Science. I have helped with Marketing papers and other college assignments as needed.

Hi there! My name is Veda. I am a current high school student with a passion for education. I hope to start my journey by providing affordable tutoring, and eventually becoming an educator. I have completed elementary and middle school levels of Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. Leading into high school, I took Algebra 1, Geometry, Earth Science, and Spanish 1. As a freshman, I completed Algebra 2, Biology, English 1, and World Geography. I took Revolutions, Art History, Choir, Spanish 2, Oral Interpretation 1, Health, and Integrated Physics as electives and/ or separate courses. While in college (1988-1994), I worked as a grader in the math department, with a goal of providing useful feedback to the students. I also began working as a tutor at Austin Community College (ACC) in their free learning labs at this time. I have worked at ACC for about 10 years, tutoring math classes from basic math through calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, discrete math and probability. I also tutor physics, chemistry, statistics and writing. I have done some classroom teaching of the lower level math classes, but, as I do not have a master's degree, I cannot, by law, formally teach the upper level classes, though I would like to, and though I have been used as a substitute teacher on occasion for these classes.
