A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Wheelock College with a double major in Human Development and Elementary Education. Working with children has always been an interest of mine and something I enjoy doing. Over the past six years I have had a variety of experience teaching children of all ages. I have taught third grade, Kindergarten, and Pre-Kindergarten.
I am a determined, enthusiastic, and highly motivated person that enjoys being challenged and working with children. I take great pride in being a teacher and being part of a child’s life. These include New York University, Penn State University, Maine College of Art and The University of Southern Maine. I currently teach at The University of Maine at Farmington. I'm also a grant writer, specializing in academic grants in the Arts and Humanities. This has made me quite proficient in writing clear, concise and readily accessible prose on a multitude of topics.
