I have earned two bachelors degrees, BS in Accounting and BA in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Reading. I have also earned a Masters in Business Adminstration. I have been working with children since I was 16. I have worked with students from different types of backgrounds, economic statuses, and personailities. I have earned my BS in elementary education and was placed in various schools. I have experience with with a wide variety of dufferent students through Boys and Girls Club, Project Reads, and Girl Scouts. I have been subbing for Fort Wayne Community Schools since Febrary 2009. As a Bowling Green State University student who has studied Communication Disorders I have come across many experiences with children. Communication Disorders not only includes speech, but language as well. I have gained knowledge about how children read and write and why some children may have problems with this. During my last semester of college I observed 25 hours of speech and language therpay which involved watching both adults and children. This year I will be graduating with a 3.0 in my major. Once I have gained some experience I plan on attending graduate school to obtain my Master's Degree for speech-language pathology.
