Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.

As a graduate from SUNY Cortland, I was always interested in teaching young adults to exceed their expectations. I have earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education and tutored and written curriculum for over 15 years. I believe this is due to the manner in which students are tested; in order to fully understand a concept, the student has to be able to explain the concept and its application in his/her own words.
