I worked for 2 years as a teacher's assistant at a dance studio and I currently work at a public high school as an English, Science and Social Studies tutor. I taught first grade for a twelve years and I am used to using manipulatives, flash cards or whatever materials my students need to be successful. I believe that when students conquer reading/writing and are reading/writing on grade level all subjects fall into place because when students can read all subjects are easier for the student to be successful.
