I spent two years teaching and tutoring Autistic children. I aided in routine skills, verbal skills and dealing with change. I have worked with two different children on these skills. I love working with children. I have helped with pre-K and grade school children with an emphasis on working with Autistic children. I have taken a lot of time to learn about the brain research that has been done to discover how different students learn. A Little Bit About Me...

When I was working as an ESL teacher in Brazil, each school used to have their own material. We used to participate in trainings to get familiar with the material and then start teaching. I developed my "own" style at teaching ESL in which I was very focused on the oral part. I tried to develop conversational classes to my students. Besides that I was teaching grammar and other skills like : listening, reading and writing in English.
My education is from Brazil. I have graduated from LETRAS, TRADUTOR/INTERPRETE at the Universidade Ibero Americana in Sao Paulo. Since 1991 I have been teaching ESL for Brazilian students. Once I moved to the USA, I have had the experience of working as an ESL teacher for the Latino Community in some palces in Eugene, Oregon.
