My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : As a high school student many years ago I elected to follow a typing course which proved to be of unexpectedly great value throughout many of my professional associations. In these modern times expert typing has become essential due to technological advances. I feel quite qualified to offer instruction so as to provide students with this extremely important mode of communication. I type accurately at a quite satisfactory rate.

In my teaching, I make every effort to engage the attention of my students. While covering the subject at hand, I bring into my lessons references to a spectrum of other subjects when relevant such as historical context, cultural elements, literary allusions, modern and historical implications and facts and trivia relating to the subject which I believe will not only be of interest to the student but will also provide a more rounded appreciation of the benefits of a wide ranging education.

A Little Bit About Me...

While in college, I tutored students in high school in lower level math and reading. I also taught swimming to high school students. During my tenure in industry, I was able to train less experienced employees in measuring tools and their use (calipers, Mics, feeler gauges, etc,) so that they might get a better position in the company and I received accolades from the home office for my efforts.
