A Little Bit About Me...

My bachelors is in Elementary Education, but my experiences are in middle school. I started my teaching experience in Salisbury Maryland where I did all of my student teaching. The two sixth grade classrooms that I engaged in were totally different from each other; different demographics, different backgrounds, different school cultures, and the list could go on. Each school however did share one thing in common; the ability to throw curve balls at you at every turn and neither schools fell short of an eventful day. I had tremendous mentors and I was awarded Maryland Teacher of Promise in 2017. For the past two years, I have been in charge of my own classroom of seventh graders. As a student in technical logical philosophy, I soon became very interested in advanced mathematics. Once I had acquired sufficient knowledge of advanced mathematics I began tutoring mathematics in 2003. My comments on tutoring Statistics : A+ in Stats 100 and A in Stats 450 at The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Also I just tutored my good friend this past semester in Statistics and she went from a 30% to a 90%.

I adjust to the learner and speak their language, establish rapport through mutual respect, and try and make it as fun as possible.
