My teaching experience began with my work with troubled youth in Michigan. I worked with the Fine Arts Team using the arts to teach visually. I also used positive Peer Culture for helping students to deal with their problems. I slso taught history at the school. I have 8 years experience; I worked for WSI teacher staffing for 3 yrs. and 5 yrs. for the Battle Creek School System in grades K-12 in most subjects
I create a positive atmosphere and help students to be responsible first to themselves and then to their community. I also try to make my students aware of their potiential and guide them in processing information by first understanding the context in which it is used. Then I like to use visuals in my teaching style. I prefer to start with testing of some kind to assess the developmental level of the student.

While working on bachelors degrees in Music Education and French, I taught music sectionals, private lessons, and classes on primarily on trombone, euphonium, and tuba, among other instruments, co-taught a French class for young elementary students, and worked at a variety of summer camps, including a music camp in which I taught basic music theory to high school students. Prior to that, as a high school student myself, I occasionally tutored Math and English and taught lessons.
