I earned my Bachelor of fine art's degree in studio art and a minor in art history. While earning my Bachelor's degree I taught a beginning ceramics course, worked as a ceramic technician and a shop technician for my university. I taught at a private art summer academy, and earned three scholarships to attend workshops at CSU summer arts. For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with children. I believe that every child is capable of learning when given the necessary tools and encouragement needed. I left the classroom in 2006; however, I do not want to completely give up teaching and for this reason, I think that tutoring is a great match for me.
I earned a Bachelors degree in English from Western Michigan University in 19997. I taught at the middle school and high school levels. My experience in the classroom has prepared me for other tasks such as tutoring outside the classroom.
