I am an experienced tutor. I tutored all through high school. I am currently a freshmen at George Mason University. I've helped kids with mainly math, piano, and chinese. I've also helped elementary school kids with homework and basic learning skills etc. I enjoy helping kids understand their materials and I do my best to help make learning something fun and interesting.
I think interest in the subject leads to motivation to do well. I try my best to keep the kids interested in the subject by making games and sometimes surprises. I do think that homework I assigned is very important because I believe practice makes perfect. What I can do is help the kids understand the materials and the homework helps consolidate the materials even more.

Charlie Gilmer has been playing piano by ear since the age of 3, taking up lessons at age 9. It was at 15 when he answered God's calling to a life of music with his first church job. When playing for his choir at Smithfield High School, the director immediately observed in Charlie signs of perfect pitch (even though the ability was pretty apparent at a much earlier age) due to his uncanny knack for keeping the choir in tune while a capella, even without the use of a piano or keyboard. As a young musician, I began playing violin at the age of 9 and at the age of 14, I began learning piano. By age 15 I toured Austria and Germany with my high school orchestra and by age 16 I had composed my first symphony entitled Seven Emotions. At age 17, I performed at Carnegie Hall and went on to tour in Italy, again on invitational with my high school orchestra.
