My comments on tutoring Grammar : Very experienced with proper grammar and sentence construction, as well as verbs, verb tenses, adverbs, adjectives, and their proper use.

I will ask the student how they learn a subject the best, and help them with their problem by reinforcing basic concepts and then adding on to those concepts. Also, I am a motivator; I will help the student understand that the subject is learnable and maybe even enjoyable to learn!
I have taught classes on aviation related subjects for my Civil Air Patrol. I was homeschooled all the way to the college level, and I remember a lot of subjects in great detail. I have not taught classes at a high school or college. Generally speaking, I have a vast area of knowledge and I know I can help you with your learning needs!

I received my BS degree with the intent of gaining a MA in teaching. While I was obtaining my MA, I performed as a substitute teacher in several school districts. I had access to 2 long-term teaching positions. The first was for high school special education in history and the second was for 8th grade language arts. I did teach 1 full year as an intervention specialist for a junior high.
The first thing that I like to do as a teacher is tell my students why I chose my profession. I think a little insight as to who I am, lets my students know how passionate I am about my job. In the year of 2004, I began substitute teaching for public schools such as North Fork, Licking Valley, Heath and Granville. In the year of 2008, I began going to the country of India to teach English to students who were nationals as well as from the countries of Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Some of these students were already fluent while others could not speak any English. Within three months, they were able to read, write and speak English. I also had the opportunity to teach in a public school while I was there. In each classroom there were anywhere from eighty to one hundred children.
