I am an active teacher. I want students to understand the subject in the context of their own lives as opposed to just learning definitions. If they can realate the information to an actual happening, they are more likely to remember. In terms of test preparation, aside from learning the information it is important to work on test-taking skills (relaxation, focus, etc.). Being prepared for such large tests is more than just knowing, it is recalling under pressure. I work with all of that to help the student.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's degree in Specaial and Elementary education and have completed 45+ continuing credit hours. Many of the credit hours that I have accumulated have been in refining my teaching skills in mathematics, reading, and writing. I have 11 years of teaching experience in public schools.
