My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have student teaching experience in the elementary school setting.

My teaching style incorporates all learning styles, because I am a firm believer that we all learn differently. I am a very patient and passionate teacher. Being excited about the subject is key to being a successful teacher. However, I expect my students to be motivated and to give 100 percent effort to their studies.
I studied Elementary Education during my undergraduate. During this time, I was a student teacher on several different occasions. As a student, I tutored a variety of math subjects (Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, etc.) to fellow university students. Collectively, I have over five years of experience tutoring math. In August 2010, I earned two bachelor degrees, a BS in Mathematics and a BA in English, from the University of North Texas. I am currently in my first year teaching in Indianapolis. I am a licensed Biology teacher although I have a strong math and science background. I would love to have an opportunity to work with students on a one-on-one basis.
