Each subject would be made as visible or concrete as possible, so that the student could interact with the material on more than just a visual/conceptual level. During my undergraduate studies I tutored at Delta College's Teaching/Learning Center for almost 2 years. While working there I received an award for Tutor of the Year. Delta College being a community college with a wide range of students I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. I focused mainly in the areas of Mathematics and Computer Science. I also like to see the students do a certain problem that they are struggling with in front of me.
