I have experience with teaching adults how to read at my local literacy organization. Also, I have tutored children with Reading and Math. I was a substitute teacher for students from Pre Kindergarten through High School with different subjects and disciplines. My love of the French language led me to pursue my BA specializing in the language and culture in college. After college I immediately traveled to France on a very generous scholarship from Rotary Foundation. This permitted me to live and study at a very old and prestigious university in Poitiers, France. I also tutored the children of my host family in English to earn a bit of extra money for traveling. I learned Spanish while in the Army for the purpose of intelligence gathering.
