Ever since I got my bachelor of science in management I could not find a job. Then one day I came up with a tutoring business for elementary students. I want to see every child succeed in their endeavors. I tutored at Felton Laboratory school and I also tutored a student from Bells Elementary. She was having alot of difficulty with math but soon as I started tutoring her she started getting better at it. By the end of the semester she received several awards for Math and Reading.

Would you like to learn French? The best way is to have a real French tutor! I'm from France but I moved in Aiken two years ago for my husband's job. For two years, I studied a Technical Degree with a French Institute. That way, I could still read and write in french so I could never loose my native language. I never been a tutor but my skills in French will allow you to learn this language correctly, and I believe that is the most important thing. I find that it is best to begin by getting to know the student, introducing myself, being friendly, and maybe talking about shared interests. This normally occurs over several sessions, but is necessary to keep out the "just another teacher" perspective. While learning, it is important to build subject matter confidence. Since there are often mental blocks or preconceptions in place (particularly in math), I find it productive and beneficial to get students to understand and believe that the work is not impossible. This helps in the transition from "I can't do this." to "How do I do this?".
