I have tutored many times in math in science. I recently graduated from college and am preparing to teach college calculus. I enjoy teaching and tutoring and am very experienced with any subject in math other than statistics and many subjects in science. My style of teaching is to first get the student to understand the basics that are needed as a foundation. For example, my friend was having trouble completing accounting homework and I soon realized that it was because he had not memorized the basic equations; i.e., "assets - liabilities = owner's equity," and "beginning inventory + purchases - ending inventory = cost of goods sold." I believe there are multiple learning styles. One of my goals as a teacher is to find each students' learning style and teach to fit their needs.
