I have tutored in the tutoring center at the Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL and also a few students taking classes at St.Petersburg College. I also currently work at the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA and formally worked at the Clearwater YMCA so I am good at interacting with children. My experience working, as a project manager in construction has been a nontraditional rewarding career. I graduated from Marshall University in the field of Safety Technology. The knowledge acquired from my degree greatly enhanced my ability to perform jobs in the industry without losses due to injuries, at rate comparibly to industry standards. My experiance with children and teaching has been at the substitute level for a combined years of four, primarily middle school.
My style of teaching is relatively comparisons and having the student recognize the use of information as it is used daily. Thus, middle school math is my choice and computer science to instruct. I use tape measures, yard sticks, beakers, pie charts money, and all visuals such as: dam’s bridges, and buildings for measurements.
