I love teaching and working with all age groups. I am patient and easy going. I believe all children can learn, but each does so differently. My goal is to find the best way for each individual. This often entails different approaches at times. I provide mainly a constructivist and sometimes "expert" (focus on facts) approach to learning. However, I have found that a variety of styles may be needed to help a student learn. I love to teach and see the ideas light up the eyes of the person who suddenly got a concept. I think teaching should be adaptable and should fit the learning style of the student. Visual tasks, memory games, and hands-on-learning are, in my opinion, the best way to help someone truly learn (versus rote memory).
