I have experience working with children with speech and language delays/disorders for the past 2 years. Although I do not possess a teaching certificate because I am a licensed speech language pathologist, I have had experience in the elementary and pre-school setting teaching concepts, especially those related to literacy.

While complete my last two years of high school I was a part time tutor at the Home Work Center which assisted students with dyslexia and children needing extra help outside of school. I was involved in this after school program Monday to Friday and I tutored at least one child a day. On weekends and most summers I was a swim instructor for toddlers and children between the ages of 3 and seven. While in college I was involved in a summer program geared towards students of color.
