A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated college with a BA in Human Biology, and I am currently in the transition between undergraduate school and medical school. Throughout my years as an undergrad, I have been heavily involved with teaching/tutoring students - primarily through my participation in the Peer-Led Chemistry Teacher program. As a peer teacher, I developed many skills and abilities which have allowed me to become an effective teacher. I am grateful that I have been able to use my scientific knowledge to help educate others.
I have educated both college and middle school students, and through these experiences I learned that the key to effectively teaching others is patience. Pupils must learn and memorize certain rules and concepts as a matter of course, but it is the ability to take these ideas and apply them to many topics, often with help and guidance, that makes a true critical thinker.
