I studied Languages for four years at University. I was about to get a degree in English and Portuguese when I moved to the US. I taught for one year. My comments on tutoring Grammar : This is a study that is not encouraged but is very important in writing structure.

Have tutored for five years with Wyzant, Tutoring Center of Herndon and on my own. My main concern is too make sure student is confortable in his/her understanding the subject material. The money part of the education of young people is really not a priority per se unless the individual student gets an understanding and hopefully confidence in taking on the subject at hand I tutor mainly in Math (Algebra, Geometry and Trig, but also Accounting,social studies, Finance, English , Reading Comp, Vocabulary
Laid back but serious as student learning subject matter is the most important factor in yuoring.

My comments on tutoring Grammar : My grammar skills are equally impeccable.

I believe in tutoring so that the child receives feedback and fully understands his/her own limitations and how to overcome obstacles in class. Many children lack positivity in the methodology! I also believe that using art instruction helps children to learn in a more creative manner.
