From a young age, I have enjoyed teaching, working with young people, and the challenge of making a tough problem seem easy. I have a BA in Literature and am a semester away from completing my M.Ed. in Secondary Education. Additionally, I am a trained teaching consultant for the National Writing Project. I have spent the last five years working full time as a teacher, two years in an economically and racially diverse college prep charter school, and three years in one of the most well-respected private schools in the state.
A third generation teacher, working with kids is in my blood. In college, many teachers and peers commented on my ability to break down a large or complicated issue into manageable, easy-to-digest ideas.
