With degrees from one of the nations top universities, I have many experiences working with students. I have worked with students through Jumpstart (an AmeriCorps program), as a youth camp specialist, and as a after school program coordinator at an elementary school in Naples. I am currently working on a graduate degree in School Counseling. I believe that helping youth succeed to be their best is very important and must be a priority.
It is important for all children to have an equal opportunity to learn. This means that I must teach in various styles or to multiple intelligences so that each student is able to understand materials taught. In the appropriate environment and with appropriate materials, it is possible that each child can be a success, given that the teacher understands that not all students learn in the same manner.

Being aware of my compassion to help children succeed, earned my PA teaching certification after graduating high school. Teach a man to fish...is for life. Tutoring is the same, especially with younger children. I haven't met a student yet who is unable to learn. My job is to find the method that will best enable students to self-actualize their learning. A success is converting the child's approach and passion for learning. If I helped to change the child's mind about learning, I have literally altered the course of his/her life in a positive way.
I have a versatile background that began with two business degrees and progressed to a professional career in purchasing and sales. I discovered along the way that my true passion was teaching and I can be more effective in a tutoring one-on-one situation than a classroom setting. I am highly proficient and have tutored nearly all subjects and grade levels.
