His students won 3 London Chess Team Championships, and an individual 2nd place on the 1998 Canadian Youth Championship Under the age of 12. He established and ran 4 Wellesley, MA Elementary School Chess Clubs in the last 3 and a half years. Sprague Elementary K-3 and K-5 teams won 3 trophies for the school, including the best booster team and coach in 2017 and 2019 on the MA States Scholastic Team Championship.
