I am a recent graduate of the education program at Bowling Green State University and I have had a variety of experiences with children of all ages and abilities in and out of the classroom. I completed an 8 week field placement at Robinson Elementary in Toledo, OH where I assisted the teacher in a self-contained seventh and eighth grade classroom. I taught lessons in the areas of social studies, math and reading. I completed my student teaching placement at Elmwood Middle School in a 6th grade resource room. I taught several math units in this classroom as well as participated in an inclusion math co-teaching situation. I also taught Language arts in the resource room. At our first session, I ask that each student complete a short quiz to determine their learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc).
