I specifically teach students to read the text allowing them the tools to be able to teach themselves. After the student reads each section (before our session) and takes notes he/she and I will then cover all of the material together and I will address any questions the student might have. I learned mathematics mostly in high school and college. The high school I graduated had a program for math gifted students. It’ schedule had a 10 hours math study in school and requirements for other 10 hours of home work every week for four years. Within this program I studied algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus all levels. I continued improving my math in college by studying advanced algebra, geometry and calculus. I am currently attending Graduate School to obtain my Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education with a major in Math and a minor in Physics.
