A Little Bit About Me...

Most recently, I have been doing SAT Tutoring. In the past, I have done homework help for children with ADHD, autism, cognitive disorders, developmental delays, behavioral problems, focusing difficulties and time management. I have been tutoring in various math, elementary, and Spanish areas for 13 years. I have tutored students from elementary school age to adults. My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : Previously taught in a second grade classroom where the focus for reading comprehension was to understand text and enhance comprehension through vocabulary. I have a variety or strategies and activities to enhance vocabulary for all ages!

I graduated from Francis Marion University in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In college I student taught in a fourth grade classroom teaching science, reading, and writing. Right after graduation I began teaching at an arts integrated elementary school. I taught second grade for three years, two of those years I taught in a single gender classroom.
