Building Future Business Minded Youth

I have had 5+ years of experience in a coporate business environment. In this environment, I coached customer service representatives of varies levels on how to become more customer service savy and business minded. I believe it is very important fro one to posses the skills that are needed to become sucessful in today's society. These skills not only include the fundamentals of school (math, science, language arts, social studies, and etc) but they also inclde how to make yourself more marketable to companies and polishing professional skills to become successful in college.

In the summer time during my undergraduate career I worked as a camp counselor and coach in Colorado for children from the ages of 6-18. After completion of my BA I coached at my alma-mater. From there I decided to pursue my graduate education and took a scholarship in the althetic department at the University of Arkansas where I became an academic advisor for the football team for 4 years. There have been numerous studies showing that different types of learning exist, and it is my belief that each individual student needs to be taught through adaptive teaching methodologies. I just recently completed my first semester of teaching University 101 at the University of South Carolina. This course allowed me to find out how much I enjoy teaching.
