I love working with children and am able to communicate with most in a way that produces a secure and encouraging environment. I am patient, easy going, and respect each child's right to express himself in an appropriate way. My first teaching experience involved establishing a Title I Kindergarten classroom. I have over 20 years experience in classroom and substitute teaching, both in Canada and in Phoenix. Teaching is my passion. I particularly enjoy working with students in grades K through 4th. I graduated from NAU where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. While studying for my degree I took many classes dealing with Early Childhood Curriculum, and also classes dealing with different teaching philosophies and methods.
